This large hinged pin features the storybook of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs".  This pin was inspired by the Snow White prop storybook shown during the brief live-action prologue sequence before the film in 1937.  The cover of the book features
white and bronze accents. The pin has gilded borders, featuring woodland animals, on each side and the bottom which surrounds the text "Walt Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs". The bottom horizontal border features all seven dwarves in white. When opened, the left has a large mirror.  The pin can be used as a compact mirror. The mirror is topped by a crown. On the right, the pin features an ornate vintage book page with highly decorated and colored text which reads "EACH DAY the vain Queen consulted her Magic Mirror. 'Magic Mirror on the Wall, Who is the fairest one of all?' ...and as long as the Mirror answered. 'You are the fairest one of all.' Snow White was Safe from the Queen's cruel jealousy." The "E" at the beginning contains the evil queen with her mirror. The pin is backstamped "Walt Disney Archives Collection EST. 1923".  It measures 2.5" x 2.25" and comes on its original D23 black velvet backer card.
